As co-chairs of United Way’s Campaign, we LIVE UNITED by setting a strong example of corporate support and encouraging other companies to become our partners in the effort to advance the common good.

The economic downturn’s effects have rippled throughout our communities. More people than ever are struggling to make ends meet, thereby putting a greater demand on the agencies that provide critical services and rely on our campaign for assistance. United Way works with many partners – nonprofit agencies, community groups, state and local government, volunteers, and others – to improve and strengthen our community. The annual fund-raising campaign is a crucial component of United Way’s work, and we want you to be our partner.

When you invest in United Way, you invest in a stronger community. Businesses want to ensure that their employees have access to the services they need – whether it’s an after-school program for their children, Meals-on-Wheels for their parents, or perhaps confidential counseling for themselves. In addition to funding these and other human care programs, United Way operates 2-1-1 NH (www.211nh.org), a toll-free information and referral service that connects New Hampshire residents to essential services.
