Community Farming Day — Building food access in the community with an emphasis on creating sustainable farming and gardening spaces. Annually, we partner with Grow Nashua to increase food growing capacity. Last year we built a new food space at Dr. Crisp Elementary School. Check out some photos from the event HERE!

Food Packing Day — Each year we bring the community together to package meals for local food pantries. These meals become a basic emergency supply of nutritious meals so that no pantry client is turned away empty handed. In particular, this is important during the summer when food need spikes up and donations diminish. Check out some pictures from last year’s event HERE!

The Sleep Out — United We Sleep is an experiential event bringing the community together to discuss and become more aware about the issues of extreme poverty and homelessness. Participants learn from community experts and then sleep overnight in front of the Nashua Community College. See pictures from this years UWS HERE!

The Shoe Box Project for Seniors — Our annual shoebox project is a community collection to put together important resources for seniors. Each year we have a different theme and create care packages which are distributed through our partners, Meals on Wheels, The Caregivers, and Gateways Community Services. This year’s theme is “warm and cozy,” focusing on items which keep our seniors warm through the winter months. Check out this year’s wish list and get involved with the project:

We can help you customize a day of caring experience for your social organization or workplace.  Let us know your interests and passions and we can connect you with community efforts where you can put your passion to work for the common good.
