Reading United – Day of Caring

Reading United is a community event held in celebration of Read Across America Day, where United Way volunteers visit public elementary schools throughout the Greater Nashua area. Volunteers will read to kindergarten and first-grade students, fostering a love of reading and learning. The event aims to engage young students in the joy of books while promoting literacy in the local community. This initiative highlights the importance of early education and the power of volunteers in supporting children’s academic development. This year’s book selection will be in partnership with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention reading “Gizmo’s Pawsome Guide To Mental Health.
