Free Community Financial Wellness Workshops from United Way of Greater Nashua and Bangor Savings Bank
United Way of Greater Nashua and Bangor Savings Bank are partnering to offer a free six-part Financial Wellness Workshop Series designed to help individuals and families build confidence in managing their finances and making informed financial decisions. Financial stability is one of the strongest predictors of long-term health and opportunity. By helping people avoid scams, build savings, improve credit, and prepare for major financial decisions, we’re working to help more people achieve lasting financial security.
Whether you’re looking to create a budget, improve your credit, prepare to buy a home, or protect yourself from financial scams, these workshops provide practical information you can use right away. No financial background is required—just a willingness to learn.
Each workshop is presented by knowledgeable professionals from Bangor Savings Bank in a welcoming, judgment-free environment where questions are encouraged. All workshops are free to attend. Please register in advance to reserve your seat.
Location
Workshops are held at the United Way of Greater Nashua, located at 20 Broad Street in Nashua. United Way offers a convenient, centrally located community space with free parking and easy access from major roads, making it an ideal location for participants from throughout the Greater Nashua area.
When
This series allows participants to pick and choose all or just some of the topics. They will be held on the first Wednesday of every month from September to February from 4:30 to 6:00pm to allow for discussing and questions.

Learn how credit scores are calculated, ways to build or rebuild your credit, strategies for managing debt, and steps toward long-term financial health.
February 3, 2027 – Homebuying Guidance
Thinking about buying your first home? Learn about the homebuying process, preparing financially, understanding mortgages, and the steps that can help make homeownership a reality.
