When temperatures drop, many local children, adults, and seniors struggle to stay warm. You can help by donating new or gently used winter coats through the NH Coat Drive, a statewide initiative supported by New Hampshire’s United Ways.

From September through October 2027, the United Way of Greater Nashua will collect winter coats and other cold-weather essentials to help neighbors throughout Greater Nashua prepare for the winter months ahead.

2026 Drop-Off Locations

Donations may be dropped off at any of the following Greater Nashua locations:

• Bangor Savings Bank (Amherst)
• Bar Harbor Bank & Trust (Nashua)
• Eastern Bank (Nashua)
• Nashua Community College
• Nashua Senior Activity Center
• NBT Bank (Nashua)
• St. Joseph Hospital
• Southern New Hampshire Health
• United Way of Greater Nashua (20 Broad Street, Nashua)

What to Donate

We welcome:

• New or gently used winter coats for children and adults
• New hats, mittens, gloves, scarves, and snow pants

To ensure every recipient receives items that are ready to wear, we kindly ask that all donated coats be clean and in good condition.

Thanks to the generous support of Cleary Cleaners, donated coats will be professionally cleaned before distribution to local families in need.

Every coat donated helps a neighbor stay safe, healthy, and warm this winter. Join us in making sure no one in our community has to face the cold without proper winter clothing.
