“Let’s Talk” Weekly Online Conversations for Older Adults
United Way of Greater Nashua is working on with volunteers from Emmaus Institute and Main Street Methodist Church to coordinate bi-weekly talks for isolated older adults. This project is supported by Greater Nashua Mental Health, Gateways Community Services, Nashua Senior Activity Center, and Meals on Wheels of Hillsborough County.
The program, called “Let’s Talk”, is an ongoing series of Zoom conversations for homebound older adults and others.
These talks occur on the:
1st and 3rd Thursdays – 12pm to 1pm
2nd and 4th Thursdays – 9am to 10am
The purpose of these conversations is to bring people together who may not otherwise have a connection to a community. It’s all about reducing social isolation. The conversations are organic – with no set theme or agenda.
All are welcome to join! This is the link for all sessions: https://tinyurl.com/LetsTalkNH
