United Way Coffee and Causes: Button Up to Improve Your Home’s Energy Efficiency
Amherst, NH – United Way of Greater Nashua, in partnership with NHSaves, is excited to announce a free Button Up Workshop as part of our monthly “Coffee and Causes” series. This informative event will take place on Friday, October 4, 2024, from 11:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. at the Amherst Town Library, 14 Main Street, Amherst, New Hampshire. Light refreshments will be served.
The workshop will feature presentations by Andy Duncan, Energy Trainer, and Tim McDonald, Weatherization Director from Southern NH Services. Attendees will gain valuable insights into improving the energy efficiency of their homes, including tips on saving electricity, insulation and air sealing, energy audits, weatherization programs, and available rebates on electric and gas appliances.

This 1½ hour presentation, followed by a Q&A session, will cover NHSaves energy efficiency programs and provide practical advice for New Hampshire residents looking to use energy wisely and save money. The workshops are free, thanks to funding provided by NHSaves.
