United Way Community Baby Shower 2025
NASHUA – United Way of Greater Nashua is proud to announce its annual Community Baby Shower, dedicated to assisting new and expecting low-income parents in the Greater Nashua area. This year’s event will take place on April 23rd, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at the United Way of Greater Nashua office.
The Community Baby Shower provides essential support to families facing financial hardship by connecting them with over 20 local agencies that specialize in services for parents and children. This year, participating organizations include Childcare Aware, WIC, St. Joseph Hospital Birthplace, Smart Start Early Childhood Coalition and Parent Network, the Fatherhood Group, and the Nashua Division of Public Health and Community Services. Through these connections, families gain access to vital resources, education, and support networks. Additionally, attendees are invited to select free baby essentials from the “Baby Boutique,” ensuring they have the necessary items to give their newborns a strong start in life.
Who We Serve
In Greater Nashua, approximately 30% of families with children under age five struggle to meet basic needs due to financial constraints. Many parents we support are experiencing housing instability, food insecurity, or limited access to healthcare and childcare. By providing baby essentials and connecting parents to local agencies, we aim to reduce financial stress and improve early childhood outcomes.
How You Can Help
Community members are encouraged to support this initiative by donating new and gently used baby items to benefit families in need. Businesses and organizations are also invited to host collection drives at their locations to gather essential baby supplies and maximize the impact of this effort.
Requested Donations:
- Baby Gear: Strollers, high chairs, booster seats, carriers/backpacks, pack & plays, and cribs (please note: crib mattresses are not accepted).
